General bookings, Short Break Holidays and Golf Packages
All general bookings and short break holiday packages
are provided by the Balcomie Links Hotel, Crail (the hotel). All short
break holiday package prices are per person and based on shared accommodation
and Children in the parent’s room. Excess day charges apply for days requested
over the package days. All packages are subject to availability. No other
discount is valid with the packages.
Golf Packages are formed in two parts, accommodation and
golf. Accommodation is provided by the hotel and golf provide by the golf
club. Neither party is responsible in delivering the other parties responsibility
to the golfer. Tee times are subject to availability and governed by the
golf clubs terms and conditions. All Golf Package prices are per person
and based on shared accommodation. Prices include accommodation of your
choice and golf fees. The hotel will settle the green fees on behalf of
golfers for confirmed and prepaid reservations. On certain occasions the
golfers may settle the green fee part of the package directly to the golf
club
For cancellation of tee times by the guest or the golf club the Golf Club’s
terms & conditions will apply. The hotel is not liable for loss of
tee times under any circumstances.
All other general booking rates are as per room tariff
or as agreed and confirmed at the time of reservation with the guest.
All meals taken to be paid for those children who qualify for free stay
with their parents. No bookings are accepted without a security, (Credit
Card) where £20 per room none refundable deposit is charged. In
the event of a double booking, the hotel will refund all deposits paid
to the hotel or with the agreement of the guest will offer the guest subject
to availability, an alternative accommodation similar to that of the original
booking at a nearby hotel or guesthouse.
Fees and Payment Methods
The guest is responsible for paying the full individual or package fees
to the hotel at the time of reservation. If for whatever reason the full
fees have not been paid at the time of reservation for confirmed bookings,
the hotel is entitled to charge the guest the equivalent of the full booking
fee on guest’s departure. The hotel is entitled to make charges for the
full booking fee on confirmed bookings, if the guest fails to cancel a
confirmed reservation or fails to show on the arrival day for the confirmed
reservation. In the event of guest leaving without settling their final
bill or failing to cancel confirmed reservation, or failing to show up
for confirmed reservation then the hotel is entitled to recover the outstanding
bills or invoices or monies through the guest Credit Card. Confirmed reservation
are those reservations which have been confirmed by the guest by means
of a deposit or a supply of guests Credit Card details to the hotel, which
enters the guest in a binding contract with the hotel, relating only to
that reservation and authorizing the hotel to make charges to the guest
Credit Card. In the event of a group booking the organizer is deemed to
be the guest and will have all the guest’s responsibilities.
For parties 4 or over, full or remainder of the booking value becomes
payable 1month before the arrival date.
Reservations for 3 or more days in duration, full or remainder of the
booking value is payable 1 month before the arrival date. Golf Package
and Special Offer reservations are payable in full at the time of reservation.
Reservations are non transferable, valid only for guests names appearing
on the reservation or their party. For party reservations, the organizer
is responsible for providing guest names before their arrival. The organizer
must be in attendance with the party.
Credit Card payments are accepted in accordance with the banker’s code
of practice.
Smoking Policy
No smoking is allowed in any part of the building, including
the guest rooms. Any guests found to be smoking in any part of the hotel,
including the guest rooms will be asked to leave with no refund given.
Full charges will be made to the guest Credit card in relation to any
outstanding bills, including the cost for remainder of their stay including
any other fine imposed by the hotel.
Cancellation Policy
For individual bookings confirmed by non refundable deposits,
cancellations up to 7 days before the arrival date will not incur any
additional cost. Where confirmed bookings are cancelled lees then 7 days
before the arrival day, the guests will be charged the full cost of the
first night stay only.
Guest leaving earlier then the original reservation period will incur
a cancellation charge of full nights stay in addition to the nights already
stayed and the loss of deposit. If leaving one day early, full booking
value is chargable.
Prepaid reservations (package holidays, special offers party reservations
longer stays 3 days or more) are non refundable.
Hotel Property
The Hotel is entitled to make charge for damages inflicted
to the hotel property by the guest, during their stay. Notice will be
given to the guest in writing, of the charges to be made in relation to
the damaged property before or after their departure. Guest Property
Guest Property
No liability is accepted by the hotel for any loss or
damage to guest property during their stay, in or grounds of the hotel
other then those inflicted by the hotel personnel.
General
The hotel is entitled to make changes or amendments to
terms and conditions where and when necessary. The hotel may at their
discretion, introduce supplementary terms & conditions relating to
special events through out the year, as deemed necessary by the hotel.
Such changes will be notified to the guests who already made a reservation
with the hotel. |
